Progetto Manifattura is a business innovation centre that operates primarily in the fields of green building/eco-sustainable building, renewable energy, and technologies for monitoring the environment and managing natural resources.

The primary aim of the project is to create an industrial cluster, specialized in the fields of environment sustainability and clean technology, that provides tailored services and opportunities for business growth.

A tender for the construction drawings and construction of new light-industrial buildings for Progetto Manifattura is now open for bids. The buildings will replace recently demolished buildings.

Three of Progetto Manifattura’s companies – Baciditrama, Collective and volver – presented products and accessories made of sustainable and recycled materials at the “Trentino Network Donna green” fashion show.

A number of companies that “grew up” at Progetto Manifattura – Italy’s first green economy hub – will be present at the Ecomondo trade show in Rimini this Nov. 6-9.

Three of them in the "Innovation Factory", one settling in the Greenhouse. From wooden buildings to the philisophy of the makers with 3D printing. The creative family within Progetto Manifattura is growing with Anna Campetti's Collective, a handicraft textile printing atelier using the traditional silk-screen printing method with a loom and water-based non-toxic inks.

With their shared goal of accelerating the growth of cleantech startup companies, strengthening regional green technology clusters, and creating green jobs locally, Progetto Manifattura of Rovereto, Italy, and ACTION, the Association of Cleantech Incubators of New England have renewed their partnership agreement.

National convention on services and technologies for requalification

REbuild took place for the first time in September 2012 and has seen 400 visitors, 100 speakers from 7 countries and a total of 34 among plenary and parallel sessions.

Starting in February 2013 the items in the page Worksite Diary will be prepared by the students of the "Fontana" Technical and Economics High School of Rovereto. The collaboration brings  students to visit Progetto Manifattua periodically, afterward they prepare an essay about the work in progress.

The collaboration is useful to students because they are preparing for technical careers. This practical experience adds to their classroom studies. During their visits students meet with project technicians and managers to study up close the concepts of how to remodel historic buildings, plan energy efficiency upgrades, redesign use of space, and work on urban and economic renewal. They also get a chance to understand how to work with the historic building commission and city government.

The collaboration got its start in spring 2012 and was first presented during the Street of Artisans event.
